At the McPherson Plant, we have 29 TM's that are native Spanish speakers. During our monthly TM Updates, it was often difficult for our Spanish-speaking TMs to follow along with the information being presented in the meetings. I translated all of the April TM Update slides to Spanish and we utilized our old TV monitor to project the Spanish slides for the TM's. We had the slides in English on our new big screen and Spanish on the smaller screen. Going forward, we will continue to translate our TM slides to Spanish and I will also use the PowerPoint translate function to translate our monthly announcements feed. I also worked with Shelia Siler in Ankeny to record Mike Petersen giving the update orally and translating it to Spanish through software called DeepHow. Between translating our slide presentations and recording/translating in DeepHow we can assure that ALL Team Members are receiving the same information and are being treated equally.
