Hold area is overflowing. Manufacturing has been using the quality hold. Added a temporary auditor to help control.
- Change, Utilize receiving cage
Move QA hold to the cage along the wall next to receiving. Extend the cage to maintenance dept wall.
Improvements
- better inventory control
- cage to be locked with restricted access
- what goes in the cage has to be verified by quality and QA hold inventory updated.
- meet IATF requirement for quality hold cage inventory/disposition
- manage disposition in timely manner
- ensure operations material hold does not get mixed with QA hold parts.
