The Sepro 5x-25 robot was implemented to optimize part extraction. A specialized mesh-coated suction cup end-of-arm tool was designed and manufactured to prevent part marking. Additionally, a conveyor was installed and activated, the press opening was adjusted from 700 mm to 500 mm, and the ejector movement was optimized. Switching from semi-automatic to fully automatic mode eliminated human error, and reducing the cooling time from 40 to 30 seconds decreased the total cycle time to 58.72 seconds. As a result, production increased to 123 pieces per hour and 2943 pieces per day, improving efficiency by 22.65%.
